彼女はまだ、二日酔い
好きな歌だったので訳してみようと思ったけれど、自分の英語力では難しかったです。
最初のスタンザ、i'm in loveから曲が始まり、一つずつ前置詞句が加わって、次第にloveの内容が明らかになっていくところが好きです。
morning afterは二日酔い以外の訳が辞書には見つからなかったのですが、他の方はいろいろ工夫して訳されているようです。エリオット・スミスにはアルコールの印象が強くて、短絡的な僕はアルコールに溺れている男女の姿を思い浮かべていました。メランコリーに勝てなくて、幸福な一日の夢を見ている、でも未来に向けては無為なカップル。すごく愛しいです。
